We will raise minimum standards for animal rearing, ensure regular veterinary oversight, and introduce stricter regulations on the transportation of live animals. Our goal is to eliminate long-distance journeys and reduce animal stress across all stages of production.

We will increase sentencing for those convicted of animal cruelty and abuse.

Every pet in Britain deserves access to affordable care, which is why we propose subsidised veterinary costs and a reformed national insurance scheme to ensure no animal goes untreated due to financial barriers.
