Building a Fairer Economy
Building a Resilient Economy
The United Vision Party stands for an economy built on resilience, fairness, and long-term growth. We reject the short-termism and elite-driven policies that have hollowed out Britain’s productive base and eroded public confidence.
Tax Reform That Work
We will overhaul the UK’s taxation system to ensure it is fair, transparent, and rewards work while ensuring those with the broadest shoulders carry a fair share. This includes simplifying the tax code, closing offshore loopholes, introducing a digital services tax on large tech firms, and reducing burdens on small businesses and lower-income earners.
Rebalancing the Tax Burden for Growth
Our tax reforms will increase the income tax personal allowance, review National Insurance thresholds, and remove unfair tax exemptions enjoyed by certain international conglomerates. We will review corporation tax to implement a tiered model that supports SMEs while ensuring global corporations pay fairly on profits generated in the UK.
Funding Efficiency & Local Empowerment
To afford this vision, we will cut unnecessary bureaucracy, reduce spending on expensive procurement contracts, eliminate waste in arms-length bodies, scale back excessive foreign aid spending in non-essential areas, and repatriate economic decision-making to local communities.
Reviving British Industry
We will reinvest in British manufacturing, support tech and green energy start-ups, and rebuild Britain’s industrial base to create secure, skilled jobs. We will invest in skills training, apprenticeships, and vocational education to ensure the workforce is equipped for a modern, high-wage economy.
Putting British Interests at the Heart of Trade
The United Vision Party believes that trade should serve the national interest. We will prioritise trade agreements that protect key industries, agriculture, and environmental standards. We will support British exports through targeted government backing, while enforcing fair competition rules to protect UK firms.
