The United Vision Party believes in a Britain where hard work is fairly rewarded and every worker is treated with dignity. We will reform the job market to deliver higher wages, stronger protections, and more secure employment for British workers.

Protecting Rights, Ending Abuse

Our plan includes banning exploitative zero-hour contracts, guaranteeing predictable work schedules, and ensuring that all workers receive holiday pay, sick pay, and pension contributions. We will expand statutory sick pay, increase eligibility, and raise its rate to reflect the cost of living.

Shared Prosperity in a Changing World

Gig economy workers will be reclassified as dependent contractors, giving them rights while maintaining flexibility. This balances innovation with fairness. We will review employment law to support freelancers and platform workers, ensuring they receive minimum standards in pay and rights.

Championing Union Rights

We support the right to unionise and collectively bargain. We will repeal recent restrictions on industrial action and introduce stronger penalties for employers who engage in union-busting or fire-and-rehire tactics.

Creating Careers, Not Just Jobs

To support employment, we will invest in vocational training, re-skilling, and apprenticeships — especially in sectors vital to the green transition and technological advancement. A National Job Strategy will coordinate regional development and support job creation in left-behind areas.
